May 20, Srta. Now that I’ve read her book, I won’t be forgetting that name. But this is only a small part of the sprawling story that is The Yellow Eyes of Crocodiles — albeit the most prominent one.


Oh, and the ending. Set mostly in Paris, it tells of a chronically unemployed husband who runs off to Kenya with his mistress to start a crocodile farm. Thank you Penguin Books!

There’s Josephine – a specialist in 12th century history and the character I loved the most.
