In contrasts to Seth’s parents, who love Lars just like they love Seth, and even put Lars on their will. Very enjoyable and totally recommended Hanukkah read! Her characters are so asrtid and normal and full of life and fun. This is a charming book with some eccentric characters and a simple but amarq storyline.
Jonah has the best voice here just the right amount of snark that had me laughing and commiserating when the family focus just got too overwhelming. This was an absolutely delightful holiday story!

And I am really glad I did. A family heirloom has been stolen. This is the sequel to Carol of the Bellskis wow, that was which I adored even if I wasn’t certain Lars was the right guy for Seth.
Jonah has a boat load of problems, his luggage was lost on the way to visit his family for the holidays. And that Lars’s less-than-toleran What it’s about: I really enjoyed this book, Astrid Amara writing style is great it has made me go look to see what else she has written.
This is her first contemporary title that I read. Combine all these story threads with a snow storm, making it impossible for anyone to leave, and a power outage which leaves no one any opportunity to contact the world outside. Refresh and try again. It’s a win win for you. I think she nailed the pacing of the story as it comes in at a pretty pivotal time in the boys relationship.
I nearly read it in one sitting and it made me feel like I was reading a romance novel, which sounds bizarre I know, maybe it was the vodka in my trifle? Jonah and Ethan decide to figure out “who-done-it”. View all 4 comments.
