He added in his written message to me that, “[ hair is] a subject close to your heart and about which you are attaining global status! She began to read hundreds of chicroo and books, going from mainstream to scientific books related to hair. Nothing she talked about was backed up by any kind of source, nor did she attempt to cite any scientific basis for any of the information she presented.
She gives incorrect or half c I would not recommend this book to beginners, or veterans of the natural hair process. Shurronne rated it liked it Jan 13, However, there were a lot of things mentioned in the book that I wish were explained in more detail.

I learned alot about afro-textured hair and will absolutely consider those learnings in how I care for my hair going forward. Very detailed and a great reference book especially if you are willing to put the time, energy and effort into the health of your hair.
I am known for teaching women how to rejuvenate their hair, so they can better appreciate it, using a process-based model that they can repeat.
Let me just say that I get overwhelmingly excited with all things related to natural hair.

Book Review: Grow it by Chicoro

Part Three is entirely devoted to the six steps in the Grow-It process and what I like about the way it has been written, is at the end of each of the steps Chicoro reaffirms the rationale behind her methods. It makes it easier for me to get to my scalp and thorough cleanse and condition each section.
Most mainstream books excluded afro-textured hair or they stated the terrible threes: Chicoro by those I have helped. The disclaimer on the copyright page of the book makes it clear that Chicoro is not a professional hair care provider, but the knowledge and understanding that I ir from reading this book about afro textured hair is far more than I have ever learnt from any professional hairdresser.
